We had such a wonderful time with Molly and Sean at Muir Woods and Muir Overlook for their engagement photos! We explored Muir Woods and found such beautiful locations! Muir Woods is 11 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Then after a quick outfit change, we traveled to Muir Overlook at Muir Beach! It has views of the Pacific and even San Francisco! Take a peek at their beautiful images and leave them a comment below!

Molly and Sean met through mutual friends and were engaged in Big Sur, CA. I’m looking forward to their wedding later this year in Healdsburg, CA! They are having a Boho style wedding planned by Sonoma Winery Weddings!

I have an important announcement to make! Headshots should not be boring! There, I said it! Please take a look at these super fun headshot photos! I had the pleasure of participating in a “headshot swap” with some really creative local artists! The first artist I photographed was Jaclyn Nesbitt of Jaclyn Nesbitt Designs. Jaclyn creates beautiful organic floral for weddings and special occasions! She even arranged for us to hold our photo shoot at Front Porch Farms, a local organic flower farm! I had a great time getting to know Jaclyn and she even let me in on a little secret. She’s expecting her first baby soon! Congratulations to Jaclyn and her hubby!

The next artist that I had the honor of photographing was Brittany Bijan with Harlin and Sparrow Events! Harlin and Sparrow offers event design for weddings and events, styling for photo shoots and interior design! Brittany is one of the group leaders of our local Rising Tide Society group! Thank you for everything that you do with organizing our monthly meet ups, Brittany! Visit Rising Tide Society to learn about our creative business owners meetups! I also love Brittany’s attention to detail with her accessories! I always like to encourage layers to my clients! Things that you can add or take away during a photo shoot. For example: scarves, sunglasses, jewelry, jackets, hats and sweaters.

I managed to snap a few photos of fellow photographer, Jen Phillips as well! Jen is a lifestyle wedding photographer based in Napa, CA. She is also one of the group leaders of our local Rising Tide Society group! Thanks to Jen for all she does for us!

I have a great time helping these fabulous ladies at our monthly meetups! Pictured below: Brittany of Harlin and Sparrow, Caitlin of Caitlin O’Reilly Photography, Jaclyn of Jaclyn Nesbitt Designs, Jen of Jen Philips Photography and Natasha of Natasha McGuire Photography.

I’m excited to share photos of Quinn and Jason’s wedding in Fulton, CA! I love doing a “First Look”! It was so fun to spend time with just the two of them prior to their wedding ceremony! They commented on how calm and relaxed they were leading up to the ceremony! I know this is often the case with other couples who can do a first look. It calms your nerves to see your partner early in the day! Quinn looked amazing in her gown and Jason helped her show it off by giving her a twirl!

I love arriving early to photograph the details! We had fun with her dress, jewelry and wedding bouquet! Quinn had lots of beautiful flowers on the tables including, dahlias and succulents. Some were in her mom’s vases and jars and some where displayed in wooden boxes. They had lots of custom wedding decor throughout their wedding and ceremony, including a hand painted sign with their names on it. Their wedding was held at her parents home, near rows of vineyards! They had approximately 80 guests, many commented on how touched they were by the couples handwritten vows!  Their guests enjoyed cocktail hour while we photographed the family. Chef Robert Negoesco with Eli Grace provided hor d’oeuvres for the cocktail hour and taco bar for dinner!

My assistant, Naomi did a great job helping me with all of the details and throughout the day!

I love their custom ring box and Jason’s engraved wedding band! Quinn’s vintage wedding ring is stunning!

The bride and groom exchanged cards prior to the ceremony!

Quinn surprised Tayler with a necklace at their private ceremony earlier in the day!

Ceremony decor!

Quinn’s hair looked awesome! Her curls were rockin!

A little dad and daughter time before the full ceremony.

Dancing flower girl and flower crown!

Married underneath the pergola alter the bride’s brother built!

I love their custom life-sized Jenga game which served as their guest book!

Guests enjoyed wine from Truett-Hurst winery, Great White draft beer from Lost Coast Brewery and Racer 5 IPA from Bear Republic Brewery! They enjoyed music from DJ, Jason Hornig!

The bride and groom during their first dance. I love market lights above dance floors, they provide the perfect amount of light as the sun goes down!

Such a yummy and beautiful dessert table. The desserts were handmade by friends of the bride and groom!

Another beautiful dahlia! Love them! And… Mug shots with their Bride and Groom signs!

The father and daughter dance!

The bride with her nephew and niece!

And a toast from mom and dad!

Guests enjoying the night!

I greatly enjoyed photographing Quinn and Jason’s backyard wedding! It was a wonderful event! Thanks for having me guys!:)
